Jonkmanskas has been trading in Bloemfontein for 50 years. Originally it traded in Antiques only but since 1990, when the present owners took over, it started manufacturing. In actual fact, the present owners were the first to start manufacturing Oregon reproductions in SA. fullscale manufacturing of solid, classical styled, wooden furniture as well as Art Deco style furniture. At present a new style is being developed, based on the Arts and Crafts. concept which is being infused with a modern twist. of business developed as the Salzmann family, for last three generations, have been rather heavily immersed in art as well as music. We of course also trade in good art and especially have a preference for artworks that are investment pieces. We manufacture our own lines of solid wooden furniture, in all types of wood available in South Africa at present and will design and.
