We are the official 4x4 trainer for Daimler Chrysler in the Free State and Northern Cape, but are open to all brands of 4x4's, because we still believe that the best 4x4 is the one with the most ecperienced driver behind the controls. Today that is still one of our trademark products, because of the wealth of knowledge of our two highly experienced Instructors. In association with African Offroad Academy, we provide accredited 4x4 driver training, under the 2 newly registered unit standards for 4x4 training with TETA.

André was born and bred in the heart of the flower paradise, Namaqualand in the little town of Kamieskroon. Here with the inspiration of his father, who was a nature lover and keen photografer, he inherited his passion for the great outdoors. He started off his career as a professional soldier in the Parachute Batallion of the South African Defence Force, where he chased his adventurous dreams. In 1988 he left the military and started a career in the financial services world. But in 1995 he undertook his first off road expedition in the Skeleton Coast and Namib Desert areas of Namibia. Eversince he has established Just 4x4 Adventures and Riverbank Off Road Academy. As owner he is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company, but his passion is to constantly explore new destinations and wilderness areas. There are very few true wilderness areas left in this world. Areas where you can enjoy unspoilt and undeveloped nature, just as it has been for millions of years. We at Just 4x4 Adventures cater for the client who wants to experience just that. That is the reason why we are so madly in love with the two deserts in our region, namely the Namib Desert (oldest desert on our planet) and the Kalahari Desert (the longest stretch of sand in the world). In these two adjacent desert regions in Southern Africa there is an abundance of wildlife and birdlife. The areas are well-managed and protected and only limited numbers of tourists are allowed. Our guide to that region was born and bred in Namaqualand and knows the area well. Only a very few privileged tourists will ever have the opportunity to travel and experience these true wilderness areas on offer. Our knowledgeable expert guides on the ecology of these regions will guarantee you the experience of a lifetime. We are blessed with two deserts in Southern Africa. The Namib in the west stretching from South Africa in the south right through Namibia into Angola in the north.
